Introduction

We train YOU to become your dog’s best Trainer! Always Faithful Dog Training focuses on building the right relationship between you and your dog. Our leadership-based techniques will enable you to be a pack leader that the dog respects, trusts and wants to follow without the need of Treats, Clickers or Shock Collars. Common dog behaviors like leash pulling, jumping, barking, digging, and generally not listening are signs that your dog is leading you. Our private in-home lessons will immediately correct these behaviors and give you the tools to maintain your leadership.

We have clients from young adults to retired couples, helping them train dogs from puppy stage to senior years. We are working with rescued, abused dogs and physically challenged dogs.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
A client with a big heart rescued a dog from the pound the day it was supposed to be euthanized. It quickly turned out that the dog had high energy and a high prey drive, jumping over 6 feet tall walls. The owner came to us for help to get the dog trained enough for him to revoke him as he felt overwhelmed. After working 7 session over about 3 months diligently with the dog and us, the client decided to keep the dog as they were learning to trust and understand each other.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Every dog has a different personality, but every dog speaks the same language. In every dog training patience, calmness and repetitions are key. If you want your dog to be happy and listen to you and not just the trainer, you have to put in the work.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What training methods do they use? Do they rely solely on treats? Are they ever disciplining/ correcting wrong behavior (not punishing) and how? Will the dog listen to me after the trainer leaves?
