Introduction

Hi, My name is Bruce and I am a professional dog trainer with over 25 years experience helping people better understand their dogs. There are very few dog trainers who have the experience I have and are able to communicate with dogs on the level I do. My main concern when training dogs is that they stay in the same family their entire life. My approach to training is to put the tools and knowledge in the hands of the dog owners so they can continue the training and deal with any future issues that may come up. My sessions are normally two hours. It's important to me in having a part with getting dogs adopted out of these animal shelters and never going back.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I charge by the session and the purpose of my sessions is to address all the issues with their dogs and empower the dog owners to continue the training.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I believe the best teachers and trainers are the dog owners, so my goal is to guide them to working with their dogs successfully.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I learned when I was a teenager that I had a gift with working with dogs. I read every training book I could get and went to a dog training school which helped me form my own ideas in how to work with dogs.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

My love for dogs and learning at a very young age that I had a gift in communicating with dogs.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I specialize in all different types of training such as puppy issues, aggression, all behavior issues and service and therapy training.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Any job I do that helps a homeless dog get adopted. There is no better feeling for me!

What they are looking to achieve with their dog and what their budget is.
