Barking Bad provides affordable, down to earth education for people and dogs of all walks of life. We have relocated to Southern Arizona, and can't wait to get to know you and your pup. I have been working with dogs professionally for over 7 years and specialize in problem solving problematic canine behavior and general obedience. I use effective and gentle positive reinforcement and proven scientific methods in obedience training. I work with dogs of all ages, breeds and temperaments.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Rates are charged per session, remote sessions are offered as well.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I require a 2 hour evaluation/consultation to go over training basics, problematic behaviors and tailor a custom training program.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have held a Certification as a Professional Dog Trainer (CCPDT-KA)

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I switched from working in the medical industry to a rewarding career with dogs when I began volunteering at PACC (Pima Animal Care Center). I fell in love with the dogs and wanted to start helping them find their forever homes. Volunteering my time as a trainer with local adoption organizations has been an amazing way I can give back to my community its of humans and canines.

I work with dogs of all breeds, ages and temperaments.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I also paint acrylic portraits of my favorite dogs 🐕.

I recommend finding a professional that uses positive reinforcement and proven scientific methods for training.
