What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I have promotional specials throughout the year as well as other discounts you may qualify for. Once training begins, all payments are non-refundable. I always try to work with your budget but remember, cheap trainers aren't good, and good trainers aren't cheap!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

First step is to schedule a consultation. This will allow us to discuss more in depth the issues you are having, how we can resolve them and what training options will benefit you.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have two Dog Trainer Certifications, one of which is my Master Dog Trainer Certification.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have always enjoyed being around dogs since I was very young. I started by training simple commands to dogs of family and friends. After separating from the Navy I decided to go to school to become a certified dog trainer. I received my certification in dog obedience and enjoyed it so much that I wanted to learn more. I traveled cross country to continue my education and earned my Master Dog Trainer Certification.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with many customers with a variety of breeds and needs. I've had customers who have been through other trainers before and not had any results. I've helped customers with Basic Obedience, Advanced Obedience and Behavioral Modification. I have also trained dogs for Diabetics, Narcotics Detection, Explosives Detection, Bedbugs Detection, Search and Rescue, and Protection.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

There are many dogs I am fond of being able to help. Each dog has its own personality and building a bond with them is very satisfying. I have trained dogs from having no obedience to being completely off leash in only 3 weeks!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look for the right trainer. There are many trainers who can make the problems worse if they don't fully understand how to work with dogs. Someone with experience and the knowledge of dogs can resolve your problems, not make them worse.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What is their professional background? Do they have experience? Do they have education? Are they certified? Do they have good reviews? Do they have experience with a variety of breeds? Do they have experience solving your particular issues? What training methods do they use?
