What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We offer a 10% discount for Veterans and active military.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We start with a free evaluation to pinpoint your dogs challenges and talk about the goals you have. Once we decide on a plan that’s best suited for your dog and works with your schedule we begin training.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

20+ years of experience with dog training. 10+ years specializing in aggression, insecurities, nervousness, and socially anxious dogs. I stay up to date by attending seminars and workshops throughout the year. Most recently webinars discussing theory of animal behavior. I compete locally, regionally, and nationally in the USCA Dog Sports. I won 2017 Regional Championship, and first place IGP 2 Championship in 2019.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

When I first got into dog training I was very young. I had a Belgian Malinois and I did trick training with her. In 4th grade I did a trick routine with her in front of my entire school. This experience fueled my interest. As my knowledge grew and I got older I started coaching others and mentoring upcoming club members and dog trainers. I have been professionally working with dog behaviors of all kinds for over 10 years now. Specializing in dog aggression, fear insecurities, and anxieties. I have focused my dog training career on making great training and helping the tuff temperament cases that not many have the ability to help. My lifelong hobby has turned into a full time career. I absolutely love what I do and am very fortunate to be able to work with dogs everyday.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

A new client called and their Golden Retriever puppy was almost old enough to be coming home. They wanted to start him right away with some puppy training. He learned how to walk on a loose leash, Not to jump on people, a lightning fast recall, potty training on the doggie litter box, sit and down for an extended period of time, Crate trained, Place trained and so much more. He was so much fun. Now the pup gets to be an international traveler with his family and they’re all having the time of their lives.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Meet with the trainer to make sure it’s a good fit for both you and your dog. Ask what services they provide. What training options do they have.
