At The Pup School we believe that our dogs are a part of our families! We teach you how to effectively use Positive Reinforcement Methods to train and build a good, healthy relationship with your dog! You will spend the most time with your dog, therefore it is crucial you learn how to understand your pup's behaviors and how to communicate with them about what is acceptable. We teach you the habits and techniques you need to effectively ingrain the good obedience and important commands that will make the rest of your live together with your dog more comfortable, enjoyable, happy and safe! - Brand new pups learn proper crate and potty training - The "Five Fundamentals" every pup needs to learn before turning 1 year-old ('Sit', 'Stay', 'Come', 'Leave it', 'Look at me') - Proper Socialization - Bite Inhibition - Bark Inhibition - Leash Pulling - Separation Anxiety - and other behavioral issues

Training Session Packages are available - sessions never expire and booking is dynamic, whenever you and your pup are ready for your next training session.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We introduce every new client to the essentials of how our dogs think and behave! We use hands-on learning to teach you not only how to understand your pup’s behavior, but also to be able to form patterns of success which lead to great, long-lasting positive behavior for the rest of their lives.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I’ve studied Positive Reinforcement Training Methods for 6 years, including the teachings of Dr. Ian Dunbar. I’ve trained hundreds of pups (and their people!) how to have healthy, fulfilling, happy behaviors & relationships for the rest of their lives.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I loved training my dog exclusively myself through Positive Reinforcement Methods. This leads to much happier owners and dogs than the archaic “dominance” training (which involves hurting or causing discomfort) Watching as people feel proud of their pups (and themselves!) as they grow and learn and develops a pattern of success is one of the most rewarding aspects of what I do.

What types of customers have you worked with?

At The Pup School, we work with an international spectrum of people - people of all ages and dog experience. We teach families with and without children, individuals as well as first-time puppy owners.
