She approaches the training process as an opportunity to shape desired behavior while building a relationship between companion animal and guardian based on reciprocal trust, communication, and affection. She believes that the best training sessions include elements of play and creativity. Rosa treats each dog she works with as an individual and customizes her lesson plans in accordance with her knowledge of her clients' specific circumstances, priorities, and challenges.

We have over 2 decades of training experience and expertise. We started with dogs that had no hope supposedly, yet we trained and loved them into loving homes. We spent over a decade overseeing the puppy program from 8 week old puppies up to adult dogs for various service dog jobs from therapy to high tasking service work. Basic obedience is a super fun way for us to teach leadership and relationships between you and your beloved K9. Paws Up works with everyone within their budget. We do not sell needless packages. Instead we build relationships and grow off of your referrals. We are now offering Grooming, our first salon is located in Thornton. We also will offer Board and Train if we feel it is the only way to get the needed result for you. Paws Up looks forward to building a Pawsitive relationship with your K9 pack and family. Home and Heart is specifically designed to work with pets within their own environment to create a safe and relaxing experience for both the pets and their humans. We provide private and contoured care for pets who have behavioral issues or have anxiety or just don’t do well in a public entity like a kennel. Through this approach we are able to provide one-on-one care to the pet and create a close relationship with the pet and their humans. We put the pets needs first before anything else. We understand not every client is for us and that’s ok, we are here to service those who need individualized care for their pets and understand the value to building relationships and appreciate specialized care in their home. We do this by providing in-home services such as Overnights, customized drop-ins, walking, poop clean up ad well as grooming and training.
