Home and Heart is specifically designed to work with pets within their own environment to create a safe and relaxing experience for both the pets and their humans. We provide private and contoured care for pets who have behavioral issues or have anxiety or just don’t do well in a public entity like a kennel. Through this approach we are able to provide one-on-one care to the pet and create a close relationship with the pet and their humans. We put the pets needs first before anything else. We understand not every client is for us and that’s ok, we are here to service those who need individualized care for their pets and understand the value to building relationships and appreciate specialized care in their home. We do this by providing in-home services such as Overnights, customized drop-ins, walking, poop clean up ad well as grooming and training. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We ask of our new clients to use our website for booking.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We have experience in Animal CPR & Administering Medications. We also offer training.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I bought this company from a previous owner who had ran this business for many years and entrusted me to keep it going. I have always loved animals since I was a young girl and I feel this is what I was meant to do.

What types of customers have you worked with?

All types of clients with all types of dogs including special breeds and show dogs.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Working with aggressive dogs whom have been abused and have anxiety issues.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look at Reviews, look at experience and make sure they are bonded and insured. Do lots of research.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Definitely clients needs and pets needs. Provide schedule and dates needed for your project and making sure we are the right fit to stay at your home with your pet/s.
