Introduction

Hi, I’m Branden — a professional, mobile canine trainer and handler based in Westminster, CO. I specialize in obedience, behavior modification, and working dog development, and I work with dogs of all breeds, temperaments, and behavioral challenges. Whether you’re dealing with leash pulling, poor recall, jumping, or more complex behavioral issues, I’ll build a custom plan to help your dog succeed in real-life environments — at home, in the park, or around distractions. My approach is balanced, practical, and tailored to you and your dog’s unique needs. 🔥 Now Accepting Board & Train Bookings! Looking for a more immersive experience? I also offer a limited number of 2-week private Board & Train programs, where your dog lives and trains with me in a structured home setting — not a kennel. This program is perfect for busy owners or dogs needing focused, accelerated results in obedience, manners, or behavioral reset work. 🗓️ Next availability begins August 27th — reserve early! I offer flexible single sessions, discounted training packages, and free consultations to help you decide what program is best for you. Message me today to get started — I’d love to help you build a better relationship with your dog. — Branden, The Dog Guy 📍 Mobile Trainer | Westminster, CO 🌐 *****************

unfold fold
Every dog is different — and so is every client. That’s why I start every new case with a personalized, step-by-step approach focused on your specific goals and your dog’s unique needs. 1. *********************** We’ll start with a quick call to discuss your dog, your goals, and any behavioral concerns. This helps me understand what you’re looking for and whether we’re a good fit. 2. Initial Evaluation & First Session Our first in-person session includes a full behavior and temperament evaluation, goal-setting, and hands-on training. I’ll observe your dog in their home or a familiar environment and start introducing structure right away. 3. Customized Training Plan Based on your dog’s behavior and your priorities, I’ll create a tailored training plan. Whether it’s basic obedience, reactivity, aggression, or task-specific work, we’ll set realistic milestones and adjust as needed. 4. Progressive, Real-World Training I focus on practical training that translates into everyday life — in your home, your neighborhood, or local parks. We train in real-world conditions, not just in theory. 5. Support & Follow-Through You’ll receive clear homework after each session, and I offer support between sessions for questions or concerns. My goal is to give you tools that last — not just quick fixes.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
My journey into canine training and handling started with a deep respect for the working relationship between humans and dogs. I was drawn early on to the discipline, loyalty, and intelligence of working breeds — and fascinated by their ability to perform complex tasks with precision and heart. What began as a personal passion quickly grew into a profession as I immersed myself in hands-on experience with dogs of all temperaments, including high-drive working dogs, rescues with behavioral challenges, and family companions in need of basic structure

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I’ve worked with a wide range of clients — from first-time dog owners and busy families to experienced handlers, working dog enthusiasts, and rescue adopters managing serious behavioral issues. Whether the goal is basic obedience, solving aggression or reactivity, or developing a purpose-driven working dog, I tailor each program to fit the client’s lifestyle and the dog’s unique temperament.
