At Better Obedience K9 Training, we treat every dog like our own. During the board and train programs, each dog stays in the home with us, gets walks and adventures and those that can socialize with dogs, are able to run and play daily. We make sure every owner gets their fill of updates on their dogs during this time and we document the process with videos and photos.
Our private training packages are also customized based off the individual dog’s needs. We can do in home session, or meet elsewhere, or the owner can travel to the train. Each lesson is 1 hour long and we start progressing toward your goals on lesson one.
Contact us through email, phone, or our website contact form.
We have openings and new programs. We also offer boarding without training.

Rescue Me! Making a Woof Connection

I work with regular dog owners looking to have well behaved pups. I find most everyday owners don't care as much about commands and things the dog can DO but more about how the dog acts both in the house and in public. Allowing people into the house without jumping and chaos, walking nicely on a leash without pulling lunging and barking and being able to take them places is important. Many dog owners start to see signs of reactivity and aggression and get scared. So many trainers give guarantees of resolving more serious behavior problems but at exorbitant prices. I have had a lot of success in rehabilitating these issues with 3-6 sessions and instilling structure and leadership in the home. I mentor, counsel and train owners how to get great behaviors and results with their dog. I advocate for both the client and the dog in an easy and friendly manner with no judgement. I love making Woof Connections!!!

Hi! I'm Bob, the proud owner of Trunell Dog Training LLC based in NE St. John's County, Florida. I started this business with one goal in mind; to help you and your dog build an amazing bond based on love, trust and mutual understanding.
I offer private in-home training, using only positive, reward-based techniques. No prong or shock collars, no harsh words. Training is tailored for you and your dog, so we can focus on what is most important to you.
Dogs adapt quickly! Your dog will soon realize that good behavior and obedience come with reward. I teach you and your dog the techniques; with repetition and commitment, these soon become second nature for you both.
I am also an AKC evaluator. This means I can certify your dog for S.T.A.R. Puppy status, as well as the Canine Good Citizen certification, and a few others.
