Introduction

Thank you for looking at my profile! The service I offer is dog training, (sorry, no boarding options). I don't discriminate against dog breed, temperament, size or age! I do POSITIVE training only (no choke chains, shock collars, etc.). I offer group and private training sessions, and package deals for multiple private sessions. My clients are treated like family. They can email, text or call me day or night. My training room is set to be a stress-free, family and dog friendly atmosphere so that everyone is comfortable. My fees are better than most dog trainers in the area. Pricing varies depending on the location of the client and the temperament of the animal. I also offer price matching. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Here is a snapshot of what my prices look like for trainings: group training indoor and outdoor $150 for 6 sessions; private (facility) 1 session for $85; private 4 sessions for $320; private 6 sessions for $510; and private 8 sessions $640. All classes are 45 minutes long. Home visits start at $100 and up. I do charge $45 IF cancellation occurs after consultation. This is due to time and travel.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

If a someone is interested in training they would just need to contact me by phone or email letting me know you are interested in a class. Then we talk about what type of class and find a good date and time that works for you. Once thats set i will email you an application to fill out and bring to class with you.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I went to Animal Behavoral College to become a certified dog trainer. I spent my hands on training working with the dogs in rescue leagues in MA.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

As the owner of a dog that is very reactive and has gone through multiple trainers, I decided to go to school to learn more about dogs and their behaviors so I could understand my own dogs better and have a better grip on what they need. I graduated from ABC (Animal Behavior College) and became a certified dog trainer. Going to school for dog training is the best thing I have ever done. Now that I have the skills and knowledge to know what my dog wants and needs, my dog and I now enjoy his walks and everyday activities much more

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with clients who just needed basic training all the way to clients who needs reactive training for their dog.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I like all my projects. I have a special place for fearful dogs. It makes me feel good when I can gain their trust.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

If your looking for a trainer for your dog make sure first that you are comfortable with the trainer and the type of training style that they perform.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

When it comes to Potty Training, there is no actual class or course for it.. it just instructrial and the trainer just informs you on how to do it. The only way a Trainer will train your dog is if you are to Board and Train. What it means to Board and Train your dog, is that you have to leave your dog with the Trainer up to 2-4 weeks. You won't be able to see your dog for that period of time, so the trainer can train your dog. When you get your dog back, the trainer will instruct you on the steps that you would need to continue with the training. I do not offer Board and Train Services.
