Introduction

We offer affordable dog training. 1 on 1 private lessons. We do the same training as bigger places, only we are much smaller with less bills so we can offer the same training for far less. ☺ I personally love being able to help owners understand how to communicate with their dogs. Just seeing the difference in their relationships once they can understand one another. It's highly rewarding.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I am far smaller than most places. So I am much more affordable. You can only find group classes cheaper. And those are a one sizes fits all. But we all know no 2 dogs are alike. Just like people they all learn differently.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I like to have my clients have a seat and watch. As soon as their dog understands what were asking I then have my owners join so I can teach them how I did it, what to do and why. Making for reliable consistent training. Training is much more successful this way.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I studied dog behavoir and modern techniques in dog training at Casey Ray Stl dog trainers. I am a certified professional.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
At 15 I used to work in kennels for rescues. I figured out then a lot of dogs were brought in unwanted because they were misunderstood. I wanted to change that. So I went to school to learn. Now here I am.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
All kinds. Many ages, genders. No breed restrictions. Every dog is trainable.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
In Missouri anyone can claim to be a professional. No certification is needed to legally dog train. However you probably want someone who actually went to school. There are so many ways you can do your dog injustice without even knowing it. Find someone who is certified by a professional school.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What is it they want out of training? do you want group classes? would you prefer training is structured just for you or one size fits all?
