Angier K9 Consultants as a company offers many different services including dog training, service dog training, therapy dog training, and dog walking. Every breed of dog was designed for a different job and each of these breeds come with their own challenges due to a lot of their natural instincts. Over the years we have worked with many different breeds including a lot of working breeds that are misunderstood due to the way that they may react to different situations. Our goal is to help teach people how to use their dog's natural instincts to train them into the dog that they can have for many years and this is why we customize every training that we do based on your dog’s breed and instincts “One of a kind training for your one of a kind dog”

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I have many different prebuilt packages for different average situations and all custom packages are based on a per session price. If you live in our local area you will receive a 15% discount on our training services.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I typically complete an in home consultation first. From there I build a customized training plan depending on the dog’s natural instincts, personal needs, and if there is a specific skill that the pet parent wants the dog to learn.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have learned from many different experienced dog trainers over the years and completed canine behavior education.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Growing up my family alway had dogs. I started training them at a very young age. As I got older I learned from different experienced trainers and I now am able to own and operate my own dog training company.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with many different breeds of dogs from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. I specialize in training working breed dogs.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Recently I worked with a young Doberman and the pet parents want me to work on her focus training including how to go out and about. I worked with the Doberman for about 1 month with weekly training sessions. By the end of the training she had complete focus at home and out in public.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I recommend you always verify that the trainer is able to customize the training plan to fit your dog’s natural instincts.
