Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We are offering a promotional price below the average as part of our initiative to gather new reviews on this profile. We understand the value of positive feedback for both businesses and customers, as it helps build trust and informs about service quality. Take advantage of this excellent opportunity to get our services at an affordable price, below the market average, while helping us grow with your reviews. ¡Yo también hablo español!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
First, we start with some basic questions, such as your name, age, and the issues you're experiencing with your dog. Based on this information, we'll determine whether a Boarding and Training program is suitable. During the initial session, we'll address these points and also explore any other concerns you may have, working together to find solutions to these problems. For the Boarding and Training option, your dog will come to my home for an intensive 3-week training program, where we'll reinforce everything they've learned and address any of the behavioral issues you mentioned at the beginning. Typically, our first visit lasts more than an hour to ensure we get to know each other and customize the training to your specific needs. If the session runs longer than anticipated, there may be an additional fee based on the extra time. We charge $160,00 per hour, $3400 3weeks b&t and $2400,00 2weeks b&t. ¡Yo también hablo español!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I graduated from CATCH Canine Trainers and am currently working in the field of Dog Psychology, which has been my passion ever since.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
To answer that, I'll need to share my story. I started as a Dog Walker on Manhattan's Upper East Side, serving both group and private clients. Later, I worked as an Animal Handler at a Pet Day Care facility. I noticed a common need for education in dog handling, where handlers could better manage and guide dogs for their activities. I began my journey by studying and completing a course at CATCH. During the course, I started teaching what I learned about Basic Obedience and good manners. Subsequently, I began offering consultancy services for private clients and worked as a Trainer at the Pet Day Care. Now, I'm working for a company that focuses on Dog Psychology, adding to my knowledge and expertise. The truth is, as a Trainer, there's no endpoint in learning. We're continually evolving both professionally and personally. It's a field where passion and growth go hand in hand.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I've had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients and scenarios throughout my career. While I'm unable to disclose specific details due to non-disclosure agreements, I take pride in the positive impact I've made. It's worth noting that the app facilitates service provision to clients across various cities. I've had the opportunity to work in Pennsylvania and Tarrytown, showcasing my ability to serve clients regardless of location. Whether it's in-person or via video call, I'm equipped to work with clients from any distance.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I firmly believe that reviews and feedback serve as the cornerstone when selecting a professional service provider. I maintain transparency by keeping my social media channels accessible for your review, along with the testimonials I've garnered here on Thumbtack. Additionally, it's paramount to ensure your dog receives the appropriate training tailored to their needs. For examploe, I do not offer training for service dogs or guard dogs. Should you require assistance in these specialized areas, I recommend engaging with a professional who specializes in such training.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
To choose the right professional, customers should consider who can effectively communicate with them and their dogs. My goal is to be clear and practical in my approach. In fact, my approach is designed to empower you with hands-on experience. While I know what to do and how to guide you towards the desired results, it's equally important for you to have that knowledge and apply it daily for success. Our training sessions are moments of learning where you gain insights on how to handle your dog. However, it's essential to understand that your dog's transformation doesn't happen in a single session. Success depends on your commitment, dedication, and continuous behavior change. Training is a collaborative effort between you and your dog, and I'm here to guide you through the entire process.
