Dog Training in Carson City, NV

I am certified Dog Trainer, I graduated from Animal Behavior College in November on 2016. I use a positive based training method. I do not use Negative reinforcement in my training or use intimidation. I also graduated from the University of Nevada with a BS in Elementary Education. I use my knowledge from both to create my lessons plans for my courses and work hard to keep things moving in a forward direction. I also put in some problem solving information in my lessons to help with some normal problems people have with their dogs. I use a Balanced training as my training method, and my schooling thorough Animal Behavior College is a positive motivation based training. I have a love of animals and have been around them my whole life. I chose to be a Dog Trainer because I have always wanted to help people and animals. This way I can help both. I am an Dog Lover first and a Dog trainer second. I am here to help with your relationship with your Dog. I enjoy seeing the difference training can make on a dog, and the difference it makes with the relationship between the owner and dog. Bringing my love of Animals to you!

Hello, my name is Steve, I am a professional dog trainer. I have trained dogs for the last 40 years starting with military working dogs while in the United States Marine Corps I have worked Guide and Service dogs for people that are disabled. With my business I have worked with a variety of breeds and temperaments over the last 20 years in New Jersey and Recently relocated back to Reno. My mission is to improve communication and the dog human relationship. There is no one way of training a dog, it is important to develop a program for the dog and owner that works the best.
