Introduction

My name is Tanya Stang. For starters I'd like to thank you for your inquiry into Calls 4 Paws. My passion in this profession is to make families happy with their new furbaby & to help the owner better understand what their pup needs. I was a former deputy on the Search & Rescue Division for DeSoto County Sheriff's Department. I decided I wanted to work with dogs because of how much I have come to learn about what our animals already know about our own behavior... I specialize in human to canine communications & I would love the chance to work with you & your family. I also do pet sitting at your home (because we all know how it upsets the pup to stay at the kennel, lol) & dog walking for the busy 2 legged owners. I currently have Diamond, a 3 year old spoiled pit bull, she's my best friend. I also have a 2 year old male pit bull named Ivory who has stolen my heart. Give me 1% of your trust and I will earn the other 99%. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks again, Tanya Stang

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Prices vary for a couple of reasons: 1. Nobody knows how long it is going to take for the dog to learn. 2. Pups have a very short attention span. I normally only start at a half hour with them for the first couple of sessions, then move to the hour.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I start off with a meet & greet, tell them how I train and watch to see how their pup is responding to both me & them.

unfold fold

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We rescued 4 baby squirrels at one time. They all had to be bottle fed every 2 hours & boy, were they a handful. We kept them until it was time to release them into the wild. They still come to visit & have had their own babies now.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Ask about experience for sure. Make sure they are willing to help you train inside as well as outside.
