Introduction

The Always Faithful Dog Training method is designed to maximize the unique communication between you and your dog. Your dog is domesticated, but your pet is also a pack animal. As part of your “pack”, it’s up to you whether your dog leads or follows. Our leadership-based techniques will empower you to be the packleader. Our private in-home lessons will address many common behavioral issues like leash pulling, jumping, barking, digging, and not listening. No Treats, No Clickers, No Shock Collars, NO GIMMICKS Real Training, Real Results NOTE: I do provide Therapy Dog Training, but I DO NOT provide Service Dog Training. Thumbtack combines them as one service. Therapy Dog Training is for taking dogs to help patients at hospitals, kids at schools, seniors at a center, and the like. Service Dog Training is for helping the dog owner on a particular issue they have.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am certified through the Instinctive Dog Trainers Association.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with young couples and families who got their first dog, all the way to retirees who rescued a dog. Watching the happiness my clients have during and after training, and the change in their lives with their dogs for the better, warms my heart.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Although I am fond of all my clients, I do enjoy working with retirees and families with young kids. The reason for retirees is because they want a companion that is well behaved especially when they have their children or grandchildren around. For the young families, if the parents are able to get their kids involved while I'm there, it is fun watching the kids learn the training along with their parents. The kids are eager to learn the techniques of the training and it makes it fun.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Don't be afraid to ask questions. What are the training methods that professional uses? Are they a board-and-train business, or an in-home training business? Describe all items of concern you have with your dog to verify if the trainer will be able to help you with them. Remember, that like people, dogs learn at different speeds. Some dogs pick up commands quickly, while others need a little more time.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Customers should really think about the type of training they want for their dog. Are you willing to put in the effort to make sure the dog succeeds in his training?
