Introduction

My job is to teach you how a dog learns, then implement those skills with your dog. I’m experienced and have years of success behind me. I have worked with all kinds of dog behaviors. Having fun training is the key to my program.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My Puppy program involves private sessions and social workshops. We cover all aspects, from potty training to starting leash walking and EVERYTHING in between. $400 Adolescent/adult covers how a dog behaves indoors and out. More information on my website it’s a very involved program $800 Trouble shooting sessions are $200,

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I first introduce my program if it is a fit then we proceed. Not every person or every situation will fit everyone’s personality and style. I respect that. I will never pressure anyone to go with my program.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have been in the dog industry in one area or another. I have worked with several different trainers and understand different philosophies enough to know that not every training style works for every single dog or human. I have a lifetime of experience in this field.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Dog training just chose me. It fell into place as a perfect fit long ago. I just gravitate towards animals, and dogs were always accessible. I have never not had a dog, ever.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I’ve worked with Folks that have had dogs all of their lives and just want a different experience to first time owners not knowing where to began.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Training usually takes a full season. I see you weekly then taper off as you start feeling confident. Always being available with questions anytime in between.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Understand it is not magic. It is a developed discipline. If it is a fun discipline that you enjoy you will do it. Dogs do not think like humans. Trying to train a dog like a child will not achieve the success you want. Learning to understand how they think will change the way you train. Interaction is the key.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
How much time are you willing to put into this discipline? To commit to a dog training program takes energy, time, money and most of all commitment to the process. Is a person willing to put the time in it takes to see change? It’s easier if it’s fun. Love the process.
