Precision Canine was founded in 2023 and is a locally owned and operated dog training facility based out of Lynchburg, VA. The key focus of the business is helping dogs be exceptional pets for their owners. Precision Canine takes a balanced training approach focusing on reward-based training and goal directed behavior with positive reinforcement. The company also offers continuing education and training for law enforcement localities as well as detection services. Precision Canine believes in helping the community and owners in any way possible. We promise that all dogs will be assessed regardless of breed or behavior and believe our staff has the experience to help you and your dog. The owner and lead trainer, Andrew Kasecamp, has extensive knowledge in the canine world with over a decade of canine experience. Starting his career in Law Enforcement as a K-9 handler, Andrew love for handling and training dogs started. Once he left law enforcement, Andrew moved to the private sector working as the Director of Training and Education and Lead Trainer for a private security company. During this time, he worked with some of the biggest K-9 companies in the country to include GardaWorld Federal, Global K-9 Protection Group, and Constellis. Andrew has also completed canine training for the Pentagon Force Protection Agency, Virginia State Police, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Defense, and many more local agencies. Andrew possesses a Master of Science Degree in Canine Behavior and is certified as a canine trainer through the International Association of Directors for Law Enforcement Standards and Training (IADELST), State of Virginia (DCJS), American Society of Canine Trainers (ASCT), American K-9 Interdiction (AK9I), and American Kennel Club (AKC CGC Evaluator). Andrew has worked with some of the biggest K-9 Companies in the country and now it's time to put him to work for you.

Pricing is determined during the in person consultation. Every dog is different and each unique, requiring a specialized approach. Working together, we can discuss the specific goals that the owner wants to achieve and the different pricing options associated.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Step one is to arrange a free consultation. Precision Canine Lynchburg will meet you and your dog and discuss any behavior problems and set goals. Once agreed and paperwork completed, we set a start date.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
