What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I have an intake process to get to know you, your pup, and other household members. we will discuss your challenges and goals and I'll form a training plan to reach them. intake sessions are 90 minutes long but include a free follow-up session to kick off the training plan.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have raised dogs all my life. I have been providing support and training recommendations to struggling puppy owners the past 6 years in a very popular and active puppy support group. I have studied canine behavior and specifically puppy development through the years. I have studied with Fenzi Dog Sport Academy and currently in a mentorship program with PetHarmony. I am working towards my CCPDT certification. My training methods are humane and focus on relationship building. (force and fear free)

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I got deeper into dog training and canine behavior 6 years ago when I brought home my oldest Toller. Unlike the dogs I had in the past, Foxy was a puzzle for me. I needed to understand how I could best meet her needs and how to train without treats as she was not interested. this opened a whole world of learning theory and canine behavior for me to research and educate myself.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with folks who are extremely overwhelmed and stressed out with raising a puppy.
