We like to work with pet parents to see how they interact with their companion pets so that we can provide the same kinds of communication cues when we’re caring for them. Having pets ourselves, we understand how strongly people feel about their pets... they are members of the family. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We usually start with a phone call to see if we’re a good match, then we arrange to meet.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I’m not professionally trained. I’ve studied animal/pet behavior via YouTube videos and have found much of it helpful, and I rely on personal experience as a pet owner and professional with 7 years experience.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I wanted to make some extra money doing something I'd enjoy. The cat in the above story is where it all began. Now it’s a thriving business!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I took care of a 4-year-old cat for four months while her owner was away on deployment. This cat was tough to get close to, very territorial, a hair-trigger personality. But by the time her parent arrived home, she was laying in my lap and let me pick her up. She trusted me. Her parent was stunned. I'm very proud that I was able to break thru to her, create a connection, and build a relationship.
