What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I have a range, which is based on the pets' needs and travel time/distance to the client's home.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I begin with a free consultation to meet the pets and their owners to learn all I can to take excellent care of their pets.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have seminars available to me through Pet Sitters International.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

A desire to provide an alternative to the corporate world.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Per-visit pet care, usually twice a day for dogs and once a day for cats. Dog walks at the customer's direction. Overnight pet sits also available. Administer oral medications, ointments, etc., but not shots. Lots of playtime and TLC.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

High quality pet care for Miss Daisy, an American Bull Dog, when she became ill and the family had to be away as she approached end of life.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

You're looking to hire a professional pet sitter / dog walker who is insured, bonded, and if necessary, holds the proper business license in the city where they conduct business.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Hire a pet sit professional, one with insurance, a business license, if required, and plenty of high-quality references.
