What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our thumbtack discounted rates are as follows: For one dog or cat: -$18 per 15 minute visit -$23 per 30 min visit -$30 per 45 min visit -$37 per 60 min visit *$6 per additional pet (discount provided for multiple pets) -$90/night for overnight sitting, $25 per additional pet -$70 per night for in-home boarding, $25 per additional pet (discounts for multiple pets)

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

-We discuss details for services and set up a meet and greet with our local dog walker or pet sitter -After the meet and greet, the owner Adam reaches out to go over service details including scheduling and payment.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

After being a pet sitting business owner and taking care of pets myself for 10+ years, I know to only hire genuine good people who love pets and what they do.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

My friend and I started a pet sitting company in Maryland/DC shortly after graduation. We both took care of pets for others and had lots of experience, so we wanted to turn it into a living. It worked out and I am now glad to be doing the same in Southern California after moving to San Diego. I provide pet care myself and hire the best help possible.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have worked with dogs of all sizes, needs, personalities. Also cats, rabbits, lizards, and other pets.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I had a great week-long overnight sitting in Carlsbad for three awesome dogs and a very nice family. All of our pet sitters love what we do and always show the pets tons of love and attention.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure that they provide: -A regular dog walker/pet sitter and consistent back up for each visit -Responsive, easy to communicate and work with -Flexible and accommodating for all service requests -Insured/bonded
