What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Visits start at $25. Visits are 30min and include up to a 15min walk. Overnights extra charge. Walks longer than 15min additional.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I am happy to come interview (or virtually interview). I will always visit and meet pets first when requested at no additional charge. I know some animals require more than one in home meeting and that can be arranged.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have had animals since I was little and been caring for them in peoples home since 2002. In 2009 I started working for a local Pet Store, learning all the ends and outs of the pet industry including nutrition, training and products.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have a true passion for animals, and they know it!

What types of customers have you worked with?

I work with all customers. If you have dogs, cats, horses, poultry, goats, birds, lizards, snakes, hedgehogs, llamas, fish or tarantulas I truly am comfortable caring for them all.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently stayed in the hotel of an evacuee while her and her family had a small get away. They were displaced by the Cameron Peak Fire. It was just nice to be able to help them feel they had some normalcy in their life and know that their 3 dogs would be okay in the hotel room while they were gone.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Always have the animals meet your pet sitter. It will help your pet feel more comfortable when a person walks in your home if they have at least met them once.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

How long will you be gone? Do you have a plan incase travel arrangements change i.e. weather delays? How will you handle the situation if an emergency arises with either the pet or personally?
