Hi, my name is Karen and I have always been a pet lover! I had my first dog at the age of 5, a beautiful Golden Retriever named Brandy. For the last 45 years I have always had a dog, and greatly enjoy providing the love and care for others animals just as I do my own. My current fur babies are an 18 month old Golden Doodle and a rescue dachshund who is 8. I pride myself on making sure your animal(s) are well taken care of and I communicate regularly while you are away to put your mind at ease. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I typically charge $30 for a 30 minute walk

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to do a meet and greet with the owner and animal and find out any nuances such as do they get along with other dogs? People? Do they chase squirrels? Are there any medical issues?

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have owned dogs my entire life and have had several clients over the past 3 years, both one time and standing, whose animals I have cared for. I have also worked for a holistic pet food manufacturer in the past.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I absolutely LOVE animals and I am an avid runner. I decided to partner the 2 and be able to service clients and exercise at the same time!

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with Poodles, dachshunds, Italian Water dog, Golden & Labradoodles, Golden Retrievers, Beagles, Pit Bulls and a Newfoundland.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure you hire someone who is responsible and reliable and who is comfortable around dogs. Also ensure the person is willing to meet with you and your dog ahead of time.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Are they reliable and trustworthy? Are they on time? Do they communicate well?
