We do this line of work first and foremost for our love of animals. Wer're confident that our clients know this from our interactions with their pets as well as with them. While it is a business, I strive to run it with flexibility and to accomodate the client and their pets whenever possible. We thrive on providing our clients with quality service by working with the client on a case by case basis. We believe each pet has special needs and should be treated as such. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Getting to know our clients and their pets needs are the most important. We do this at the initial consultation. Discussing with the client their needs helps us to customize the service if needed.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
We have training in Pet CPR and First Aid as well as FEMA certified in Animal Rescue. We are affiliated and members of various Pet Sitting organizations for which we attend online conferences and webinars pertaining to the Pet Sit industry.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
The answer to this is simple. I have loved animals ever since I can remember. Whatever animal found it's way to our home usually ended up staying. The satisfaction my line of work provides me is enormous! I get to provide pet owners with the best care for their pets and best of all have fun doing it. I get out of bed excited to go to work.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have worked with all types, from the young professional to the senior citizen.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
The advice I would give any one looking to hire a petsitting professional is that to ask the right questions. Always ask how long they have been doing it and if they are insured. Also if your pet has special needs if they are able and willing to care for them. Ask if they are willing to provide references as well. If the service you are interested in using hesitates with any of these then they are probably not the right one for you.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
The more information the customer can give us the better we are able to customize a service that's best for them. So for us, it would be how many times a week they would like their dog(s) walked, or how many visits they would like for pet sitting. We welcome all questions and are happy to offer advice!
