Getting Started The first step is to schedule a meet and greet. This gives us the opportunity to get to know you and your pet, understand your needs and routines, and ensure we’re a great fit for your family. During this visit, we’ll also help set you up in our easy-to-use scheduling software, Time to Pet. Time to Pet: Simple & Transparent Time to Pet is the secure platform we use to manage visits, send updates, and streamline communication. At the meet and greet, we’ll walk you through exactly how to use it—from booking services and messaging our team to receiving visit reports with photos and notes after each appointment. Our Team Approach To provide the most reliable care possible, we use a team-based approach to pet sitting and dog walking. This means that while you may have a primary sitter or walker, another trained team member may step in when needed (for example, during time off or emergencies). This ensures your pet is never left without care. All of our team members go through a thorough background check and in-house training process to ensure they meet our high standards. Our Training & Vetting Process Includes: A three-round interview process to assess character, experience, and fit A comprehensive background screening Over 10 hours of online coursework, covering: Bite prevention Canine body language Feline fundamentals Basic dog training and behavior 10–15 supervised training visits (shadow shifts) with a senior training facilitator to ensure hands-on proficiency and consistency in service Only after successfully completing each of these steps is a team member approved to begin solo visits. Since then, we've expanded even further — now proudly operating with a team of over 30 dedicated pet care professionals. This shift has allowed us to implement more consistent policies and procedures, elevate the quality of service, and maintain a higher standard of care across the board.
