What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We offer a $0 professional Meet and Greet where we get to know you and your pet. We also range around $28-35 for a 30 minute walk, depending on drive time. For repeat customers, we have packages you can purchase ahead of time with discounts up to 20%.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We come out to meet with you, take notes about you, your pets, and your concerns. We then onboard you through our platform where you can upload any documents or information about your pets in our database so we will always have it ready when we come to your home. Payments and scheduling are made directly through our web app, so everything is easy for you.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We have been walking and rescuing dogs for years. At home, we have 5 dogs of our own and frequently care for the dogs around us. We are also Pet CPR and First Aid Certified. Our journey is one where our passion has turned into our profession!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

We did it out of reciprocal necessity. I used to be a busy COO of a company and was always working long hours, traveling for work, and feeling guilty about the care of my animals and family. I took a step back and decided to provide for other busy professionals like myself because I know how great it feels to know you are getting responsible, professional care for your animals and family.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have experience with all dogs- large and small. We have trained larger dogs who pull on leash to be more calm and have worked with aggressive breeds as well. I am a big guy who isn't easily pulled down so I can work with multiple dogs at once. We believe that your home is your place of respite, and we want to take care of your home and your fur babies as well as you ever would.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look for professional experience, both in dog walking and outside. Since you are hiring someone who will be entering your home and working with your fur children, you want to hire someone who will share both the good and bad with you and be up front and honest. You also want to hire someone who has the ability to respond quickly and adapt to your changing schedules.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Its a challenge to hire someone new to come into your home and take care of your family. We know- we've been through it. Make sure that you work with someone who takes active notes and repeats them back to you. Make sure you work with someone who has the ability to store documents provided by you and refers to those documents each time they visit.
