Introduction

I love animals and have lived with them my entire life! Right now I’m the human of BrokoLi who is the most important part of my happiness. I’m an Animal Science Veterinary student at CWI, and a Certified Vet Assistant as well. I will treat your loved one as he/she is mine. Over time I realized that what makes my life complete and vivid is taking care of those who don’t have voice, of course part of that is helping owners with life events.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Based on the fact that this activity for me is my passion and not a simple job, my prices compared to other pros ones are really low. However, I am open to the possibility of working with the owner in any particular case.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
What is really important to me, without trying to sound arrogant is that your pet, despite the different personalities they may have, feels comfortable with me, giving you peace of mind that in your absence it will not be so traumatic for the little one(s). That said, it is also important to me that you meet me and have an impression of me in order that you make the best choice that suits your needs of finding a trustwhorthy person.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I am currently a certified veterinary assistant, seeking my associate degree in animal science veterinary at CWI. I've taken free classes on pet behavior, basic grooming, personalized feeding, among others. However, the experience obtained with my own animals and at this point those that I have cared for over time have been the best source to get that experience.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I am a certified CNA(certified nurse assistant), so the art of giving has always been a pillar of my personality .One day I decided that I wanted to work on something that would make me really happy without having money as the main motivation to dosomething, and that's when I enrolled in college again, as the semesters going through getting directly involved with animals became my permanent life project. Well, and here I am :)

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have had all kinds of personalities, both pet and human. The keY here I think is to have empathy with both having as result rewarding interactions. Most of my clients have been cats and dogs. However I have had birds, reptiles and fish on the list as well.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I have at this moment and since a few months ago (July 2020) Pink and Blue, they are two elderly Labs , who have had a difficult situation since their owner had to be hospitalized. I am in charge of feeding them and their care in general. I love those two, and I can say that the bond we have created is reflected in their eyes of gratitude and happiness every time they see my car arrive.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
First impressions are very important, your pet's intuition is vital.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Depending on the personality of the pet, ask how willing the person is to comfort him / her. Reviews or recommendations are very helpful, it would be a great idea to review them before planning to have an in-person interview.
