What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We are competitively priced and all services such as a walk, fresh water, food, and medication are included under our price. Two dogs/three cats are included under our pricing making us a more affordable option (when compared to boarding).

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We do a meet and greet over the phone or in-person to learn more about your pet/s needs and go over our policies. Then, we get you set up on our portal and app which makes it easy to schedule, cancel, receive journals, and pay.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

All of our team members are trained exactly the same way so you'll get the same high level of care no matter which of our pet professionals comes to take care of your pet. We are insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Simply Pets was started in 2009 in Oswego, Illinois. Our mission is to provide busy pet parents like you the safe haven you need to enjoy peace of mind knowing your pet is cared for and, of course, having fun at the same time! Building strong, trusting relationships with our clients is a top priority with Simply Pets. Through the use of our convenient, online mobile app, we keep in touch via messages and visit journals so you’re always in the loop with how your pet is doing while in our care. We offer the convenience and reliability of a larger pet care company but we keep our team small to ensure a personal, family-oriented experience that you and your pet deserve from a pet care provider. What types of customers have you worked with?

We work with all pets, big and small, from dogs to cats, to chickens. We are experienced with dogs, cats, tortoises, turtles, lizards, birds, rats, and chickens.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Check that your pet care provider is bonded and insured and has plenty of great reviews/references.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What type of pet care are you looking for? dog walking, boarding, in-home pet sitting, or something in between? Identifying which type will help you choose the best pet professionals for your pet. We provide dog walking and in-home (drop-in) pet sitting. This is great for both young and senior pets. Also, pets who do not get along with other animals or strangers. You'll know your pet is getting the individual care they need. How does the pet professional provide updates after walks or during sits? Finding out how and when your pet care provider sends updates is an important question to ask! We provide journals through our app after every visit. We try to include potty, feeding, and medication info along with an update on how much fun we had during our visit! Journals always include photos of your pet/s. Are you insured and bonded? Does my sitter have a background check? This is an important question to ask when it comes to the safety of your pets and home. Simply Pets is insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates. All of our team members are put through a meticulous hiring and training process. They are all background checked.
