What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I have standard prices for my services but am always willing to negotiate. Situations are different and I try to accommodate everyone.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to talk over the phone first to find out the situation. Then tell someone about myself, what services I provide. If that works out, I then go over to a new potential customer house to meet with them and their fuzzy friend and take it from there.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I've taken some courses to become a certified technician. I plan to become fully certified in the next couple of years.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have been working with animals in a hospital aspect for so long, I thought it'd be fun to help in another way. Having repeat customers is my favorite because it's so fun to go to a house and a dog/cat is happy to see you because they know you're going to do something fun with them.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I typically work with people who work full time jobs and need someone to take care of their pets during the day. Clients who vacation and need help. Or even if they're just too busy that day and need an extra hand.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Some advice I have is just to get someone with experience. Your pet is in their hands and you want to leave them in the hands of someone you know you can trust.
