Introduction

We are a team of people who love and care for your animals as if they were our own. Offering overnight care at your home so that your pet can feel comfortable, relaxed and stress-free while you are out of town. Your pet will receive the best care while you enjoy a vacation, staycation or business trip! You will receive pictures and status reports to keep you informed on your pet’s health and wellness while away. We customize to your pets need, you will receive a 30 minute visit to your home for any type of relief! This could include a few walks around the block or, for those less active pups, an extra long belly scratch.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We always have a meet and greet with whom ever on our team will be caring for the animals. To make sure that is the best fit possible for the animal and client. This is a 30 minute visit to the clients home where we can interact with the pet in their own environment.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

All of us who work with Heartsforpaws has a passion for animals. We are either pet owners ourselves, worked in the foster field for animals or worked in vet clinics. I began fostering dogs, in 2008 and my passion is making them feel as comfortable as we can when their families are away. Keep them as close to their routines as we can.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have all types of customers we love all animals the same. We have had most of our clients since they were puppies into their adulthood. We love to be a part of their growing up years with the clients. We become family and that is the best part.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

There are plenty of people who love to pet sit, I always tell people it is important to hire a company that is insured and bonded to ease the mind of the client. Know who they are ask around, we are a small locally base company with a great partnership with a local vet and groomer.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

When people shop price only it can seem a bit overwhelming. I always say you are asking someone to come and care for a family member. We are a team who does this as a job not just something fun to do or to get extra money on the side. To me that makes a difference in the quality you get in someone.
