Introduction

The length of time and our success rate has allowed us many different experiences from behavioral quirks to medical issues. The more knowledge we obtain the better we get at everything we do. Working with the pets is the best part of the job of course. Its great to meet all different breeds and types of animals and also different personalities within those breeds.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our prices for all our services are fair and within industry standards. We work hard to make sure your pet gets proper exercise and do their business in the timeframe decided upon. Since we charge per household and not per pet we are much more reasonable than some services.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We do the typical meet and greet situation to meet both our customer and their animals. That way we can customize the visits as much as possible to reach some goals etc that the customer may be trying to achieve. With clear communication the problems are minimal.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We started in 2002 so over 20 years so far involving everything from doggy daycare, food/retail sales, mobile grooming, pet training, dog walking and pet sitting has allowed us to amass alot of knowledge about many different facets of the industry, the pets in our care, and how to set up a smooth and cohesive program

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started this as a side gig to a full time job because of my love of animals. It quickly overtook my other job and became my career and I never looked back. it's still all about helping the humans and animals through good and challenging times. A new job or an addition to the family shouldn't be a situation where the pet needs rehomed or where everyone has to live in chaos. Sometimes dog walkers/pet sitters can alleviate the pressure, provide the right exercise, and even help ease the pets into their new experience. I enjoy helping ppl and pets hit that target where everyone wins!

What types of customers have you worked with?

We work a lot with people who are very busy with work, child rearing, etc and need assistance in getting their dogs the exercise and attention they need. We work with many elderly clients who can't physically handle providing all the needs for the pets so we help fill in any gaps. We also work with many people who travel weekly/monthly for work and need ongoing help and even some people who only vacation once a year or so but want to know the pets are well cared for back at home.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Be specific in your needs and don't be afraid to point out shortcomings on your pets. We are animal lovers so if your dog nips or tries to escape it won't prevent us from trying to help. It's just 100% easier to deal with challenges if we are aware beforehand. If you have specific targets/goals for us to hit be direct about those too so we are on same page.
