Dr. Doolittle’s Pet Visits

I charge less than my competitors mostly because I'm just starting out and trying to build up my reputation in the area. It certainly does not mean I'm not as qualified because I most certainly am.

I have had animals all my life. Cats, Dogs, Rabbits, Birds, Hamsters, Fish even tadpoles as a child. LOL I love them all very much and at this present time I own 3 dogs and one cat. I'm very qualified to take care of your dog or cat whenever you need to be gone. They are my greatest most loyal companions. I retired in 2020 and I'm enjoying freedom from the 8:00 to 5:00. I'm healthy and active and ready to play and help out when needed.

My love of Cats and Dogs led me to this type of work. I found out how much a sitter was needed when I had to go out of town for a couple of days. So when I retired back in 2020, what better way to spend time, than with your pet(s) when you can't be home with them. I have 3 dogs and 1 cat of my own, but I have the time to visit your home and feed, water, walk, let out, play, give meds if needed, etc.....at 30 minute visits or 1 hour visits many times each day. Will work that out with you.

I kept a lady's 3 cats for 4 days while she went out of state back in March, 2025. However, she never filled out the review on me sadly. She found me here on Thumbtack but ****************************************************. Therefore, I don't have her review. I know she was quite happy with my service for her 3 cats though. I went to her condo 3 times each day (30 min visits) and fed and cleaned litter boxes, etc. Also, she had me open & close her blinds for her and turn off & on lights to make it look like someone was home. One of her cats hid the entire time I was there. But I always got down on my knees to make sure he was alright...he was always hiding under the bed. LOL I'm sorry that I don't have her review for you. You'll have to take my word for it.

My recent projects consist of what I do outside of pet sitting. I am an artist that basically does it as a hobby. Occasionally, you might see me set up at a craft show, but mostly I sell my works on FB Marketplace, Ebay, sometimes on Etsy when I have my Etsy store open. My slogan is "I paint on anything that will stay still long enough," LOL I can pretty much paint anything as long as I have a picture of it or a model of it. I'm a detailed slow painter though.

I would definitely do a meet and greet to get a feel for the person's personality. I think you could determine how they would be around your fur babies. Also, check the pricing of other pet sitters. Some have built up a clientele, so they can charge more than others just starting out in the business. It doesn't mean they are any better at this line of work. Keep in mind that we are coming to your location; this means we don't charge for travel as in gas money, etc. So factor that in with your decision.

They should know their detailed facts as in how many visits they want us to do each day. How long the visits will be as in 30 mins or 60 mins each time because the prices will be different. And of course, the dates in which it starts and ends. Also, if you want pics sent to you on each visit of your pet...to me, that's always a happy little plus. And also, instructions written out for the pet sitter to be left with emergency numbers on the list.
