What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our pricing is based on the pet's breed, size, temperament, coat maintenance, and style of trim the owner would like to have done.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We spend time getting to know the customer and pet's needs. We ask what breed your pet is and their age. If the pet is a puppy, we talk about puppy introductions to grooming and what the service entails. We also let them know we offer a quiet room grooming for nervous or senior pets. We offer mobile in-home grooming for your pets who are anxious about riding in a vehicle or leaving the comfort of their homes. For clients with busy schedules, we also offer pickup & drop off services for their convenience.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Our staff was professionally trained and most have 10+ years of experience in the grooming field. Our Lead Groomers are responsible for training and working with our newer groomers to ensure we are meeting pet safety and grooming quality standards in our grooming salon.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Our groomers were all trained through different types of hands-on grooming academies. We strive to provide continuing education to stay on top of new styles, trends, techniques, and safety protocols.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have a wide variety of clientele that all like different styles for their pets. We do our best to accommodate all owner's and pets' needs. We want our customers to feel comfortable leaving their pets with us and becoming apart of the Southern Divine Kennels Pet Grooming Family.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Our most recent venture is mobile grooming! It has been a long-term goal of the owners for 5 years. We are finally able to offer in-home grooming services and mobile pickup and drop-off services for our clientele. Our new goal is to add a mobile grooming van to our operations by next year. A huge thanks to all of our clients who are helping make this goal possible! We are accepting donations in the salon. Please ask the front desk for more information.

* Is my pet possibly matted and what style could we expect them to achieve based on the current coat condition? * Is my pet aggressive or reactive and how what option would be best for the safety of the groomers and your pet? * Is my pet anxious, nervous, or unsure during the grooming process and how can the salon accommodate these needs? * What are my expectations of the salon?
