What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

A meet and greet with client and dog. You want to make sure you’re the right fit for each other. I always ask questions especially any medical history and allergies.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I was in a different field before going to pet care. While in transition, I studied to be a dog trainer. While on my internship, my mentor at the time has hired me to walk dogs for her company. From there I slowly made a new make for myself. A year later, I was working independently. Fast forward I’m starting my own company.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Trust your gut instinct. Make sure the person is very knowledgeable with different equipment as well as different methods. Not all methods work with every dog.
