Hi, I’m Christina! I live in Glen Cove and cater to surrounding areas up to 15 miles. About me: I started Bella’s Clubhouse in 2020 for my dog Bella. We had to unfortunately put her down December 2020 due to health complications. We had her from 4 months to 15 years. She meant everything to me and I am still devasted she’s gone. I decided to change career paths from a preschool teacher to vet assistant (I know, very random) so I could better educate myself for Bella. Not only do I know the medical perspective of caring for an animal, but the owner’s perspective as well! I treat every animal as my own just as I would expect from someone else. I have always had a love for animals; grew up with dogs, cats, and birds my whole life. Since this new journey I have been greatful to obtain enough experience to care for dogs, especially, of all ages and sizes. Because taking care of animals has been my forever passion I have made Bella’s Clubhouse a full time position, and am happy that I have a wonderful team who feels the same. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I would schedule a meet and greet for you and your pet. Job details and rates would be discussed. You will receive an email with a price list and pet care agreement about days/rates as per the meet and greet. During my visit, you will receieve any text updates as well as pictures/videos of your pet.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I’m a certified Veterinary Assistant, have 7+ years experience, and own Bella’s Clubhouse LLC.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

A friend needed me to watch her 3 dogs while she was away. I fell in love with it and haven’t stopped since. I’ve also always wanted to work with animals and thought this is the perfect opportunity to do so.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have experience with dogs, cats, and birds but mostly dogs. I’ve cared for all sizes from 5-100lbs.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

A meet and greet before the job is a must! Familiarizing yourself with potential clients pets is the best way to almost gaurantee comfort and trust during your pets visit.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Always make sure you have a back up in case your first choice can’t accomodate!
