I went to school to be a vet assistant at Northcoast in Kent. I opened my own pet sitting business shortly after graduating and have been a professional pet sitter since 2008 and can't picture myself doing anything else. I put passion in my work. I treat every client with the same respect and kindness and every pet as if it were my own. In the past I also worked part time at a kennel for over a year. I have taken care of any size dog from a chihuahua to a mastiff also any age from just born to 18 years old. I am very fit so I can run with the dog or walk at a very leisurely pace. I have experience giving pets medication from pills, liquids, injections(most common diabetic), and inhalers. I am recommended by one of the local veterinarians. I have cared for dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, ducks, chickens, parrots, ferrets, gerbils, frogs, iguanas, and turtles.

I’m not certified in CPR, however, I know exactly how to do it, and was trained in school. (High school+ marine corps boot camp-when I had went).

Missy, has always had a true love for all animals, to the point she became a veterinary assistant for several years. It all began with volunteering at the local humane society at 10 years old. Then, at 12 years old became a volunteer at an equestrian center taking care of the elderly owner's livestock and house pets. At age 15 she added in working at the Wild Animal Sanctuary in Texas caring for several large cats and even a bear! Currently, she is the proud fur mom to three miniature dachshunds and a cat. They are her whole world :) If you are looking for someone to love and take care your pet(s) like they're family, rest assured Missy is an excellent fit! Plenty of experience and great success with leash training dogs using positive reinforcement. We do not use “choke" collars. We have many sizes of harnesses/collars should you need one provided.
