Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We offer referral and review discounts! After you have booked with us and review us (Facebook, thumbtack, google, and BringFido) you will get a walk or drop in on us! If you refer someone and they book at least $30 in services you both get a $15 credit! We also do random drawings throughout the year on our Facebook page!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Once a meet and greet is arranged I will send you a link to Scout, the software program we use. From there you can add your pets info as well as emergency and vet contacts!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
All of our staff are pet cpr and first aid certified. We also have our staff complete additional training in animal behavior, body language, species specific issues and much more.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I’ve always loved animals! I used to be an EMT and started pet sitting again (I used to pet sit in high school) after quitting my last EMS job. Slowly but surely the business has grown and I absolutely have the best job in the world! We’ve now been in business since 2018!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have worked with all kinds of animals from dogs and kitties to rats, rabbits, and fish! We also work with behavioral issues on a case by case basis.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I recently started working with a dog named Denali. Denali was rescued, but due to health concerns the shelter put her on the euthanasia list. Freedom rider came in, treated her medical issues and 4 months later her human adopted and brought her home! Denali was scared of everything and didn’t want to leave her apartment building. Over the course of a few weeks Denali not only leaves her apartment building but she has started asking to be petted!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
You cannot ask too many questions! Make sure the person is insured and that your pets are comfortable around them! We offer in person and virtual meet and greets FOR FREE to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
