I am an animal lover and volunteered regularly at Operation Kindness before the pandemic. I took care of both cats and dogs at the shelter, whether it was walking the dogs, keeping them company/playing with them or cuddling with the kittens, providing enrichment, etc. I also own a cat and understand cat behavior. I am SmartyCat trained and work with undersocialized semiferal/feral kittens to help them interact and become more adoptable. I am a HUGE animal lover [dogs being my biggest obsession of all :)]. I am available for a wide variety of pet care services, including but not limited to the following: home visits (the duration and frequency of in-home pet sitting visits are totally up to you!), pet boarding, doggy daycare, pet sitting, house sitting, or other in-home care for your dog(s) and/or other pets! I encourage each pet owner to customize their pet sitting request based off of their specific needs or preferences for their pets, and I will cater to each pet owner's specific requests and follow your instructions to a T! I am a licensed Registered Nurse, and I worked as a Charge Nurse in the Trauma ICU at Baylor University Medical Center (BUMC) in Downtown Dallas. I recently separated from my job at Baylor in March 2023, and I am taking some time off from nursing due to my significant "nursing burnout". In the meantime, I am doing pet sitting full-time! I started pet/dog sitting as a "side hustle" in 2021 to occupy my time during my 4 days off from my extremely stressful job each week; now, pet sitting is no longer just my side hustle, it's my full time job! It doesn't even feel like work to me because I truly enjoy it! Taking care of/being around animals makes me so happy! I LOVE being able to provide high-quality, customized pet care services to fur babies everywhere; I strive to give pet owners peace of mind when they are traveling and have to be away from their fur babies. I can provide updates as often as you would like, and I always send tons of pictures of your fur babies while you are away!! You can always call/text me anytime with your pet care or house sitting needs, day or night, 24/7; im a night owl, so im always up :). Then, we can set up a meet n greet and make sure you feel that I am a good fit for your fur babies and ensure you feel confident that I will be able to provide the care/services that meet your and your pets' specific needs. :) Im super laid back, easy-going, and flexible. If plans change last second, no problemo. I can work with and adapt to whatever comes my way. I try to keep my prices as affordable as possible, but I can work with you on pricing as well.
