I am a HUGE animal lover [dogs being my biggest obsession of all :)]. I am available for a wide variety of pet care services, including but not limited to the following: home visits (the duration and frequency of in-home pet sitting visits are totally up to you!), pet boarding, doggy daycare, pet sitting, house sitting, or other in-home care for your dog(s) and/or other pets! I encourage each pet owner to customize their pet sitting request based off of their specific needs or preferences for their pets, and I will cater to each pet owner's specific requests and follow your instructions to a T! I am a licensed Registered Nurse, and I worked as a Charge Nurse in the Trauma ICU at Baylor University Medical Center (BUMC) in Downtown Dallas. I recently separated from my job at Baylor in March 2023, and I am taking some time off from nursing due to my significant "nursing burnout". In the meantime, I am doing pet sitting full-time! I started pet/dog sitting as a "side hustle" in 2021 to occupy my time during my 4 days off from my extremely stressful job each week; now, pet sitting is no longer just my side hustle, it's my full time job! It doesn't even feel like work to me because I truly enjoy it! Taking care of/being around animals makes me so happy! I spent a number of years as a Zoo Keeper for the Dallas Zoo. My first job ever was at Loop 12 Animal Clinic. I've loved and cared for many dogs, and currently have a horse and care for 3 other horses. Something about an animal's capacity for unconditional love has always bonded me to them.
