We practice product and vendor research to find low prices on materials. Project itemized estimate available to demonstrate transparency.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Get to know the customers construction wants, needs and aspirations for the future. Try to zone in on the style of construction desired. Come to understand time crunches, urgent or easy going scheduling format preferred.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

No job out of reach as i am a teacher and builder by trade. I have personally trained my teams. Union Carpenter Local 1506/619 since 1998. Specializing in the Architectural craft. Have worked on projects as small as a home upgrade to high rises from the ground up to a small 19 building city for the U.S. Marines.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Grew up like many kids building cardboard box forts, club houses, tree houses and so on. Fascinated by craft, I was attracted to construction as a job through a friend who would go work with his father doing minor construction tasks for a home owner. During my college years, I worked construction jobs through Carpenters Local 1506/619. While still apprentice. I was given a lead man position. That led to becoming a foreman, then a superintendent, and now a general contractor.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Your imagination is the limit. Gather your ideas and questions and write them down to discuss with your builder.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Scope of work desired at the moment. Phases of work desired. Schedule of work (duration of construction). Customers should fantasize about their dream build. The in-mind project, but equally important, what will come next in order to avoid costly obsolete construction.
