Fascinated by craft, I was attracted to construction as a job through a friend who would go work with his father doing minor construction tasks for a home owner. During my college years, I worked construction jobs through Carpenters Local 1506/619. While still apprentice. I was given a lead man position. That led to becoming a foreman, then a superintendent, and now a general contractor.
