What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We accept credit cards but in all honesty we charge a 2.5%+ surcharge or more since that's what it costs us. Best pricing for cash/check!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Jobsite estimate and presentation. Back to office to prepare proposal. Proposal usually sent within a couple days (job dependent)

1994 started at Sears Home Improvement and ascended to Assistant Manager within a year and then soon after won award for top salesperson (1/700+) in nation. Was offered NSM position in Dallas but refused to relocate so left company within another year having hit top of ladder within organization.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Complicated window, door and exterior siding combination project in Burlingame - very technical with lots of detailed wood interior and finishing work.

Focus on the reputation and history of the firm you are considering hiring, their policies and the likelihood of a high-quality installation. The products and brand names are far less important.
