How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have the best customers. Our customers are passionate homeowners who care deeply about the health, safety, security and longevity of their home. Our customers value our inputs and suggestions when it comes to home performance, home health and home maintenance.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
A highlight for us was recently upgrading a home built in 1994 from standard, non impact-rated windows, to Hurricane Impact Rated windows. This customer wanted the peace of mind of a weatherized, weather resistant home to extend the longevity of her family's home, as well as improve her current quality of life. Through an impact upgrade and weatherization installation (air sealing and water proofing), we were able to reduce energy expenses, reduce pollutants and allergens entering the home, and increase home comfort.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Ask questions. You are hiring an expert; no question is off the table and there is no such thing as too many questions. Want to understand the installation process? You are encouraged to ask. Want to understand what materials are being used? You are encouraged to ask. Want to know and verify the credentials of the technicians servicing your home? You are encouraged to ask. Want to have access to itemized, transparent pricing? You are encouraged to ask.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
How will these services or upgrades enhance my indoor air quality? How might these services help to reduce my utility and energy costs? How do impact windows protect my home beyond "normal" windows? How might these services help eliminate allergens, toxins or pollutants from my home? Do you offer financing or incentives that would help me achieve the desired or optimal outcome? Do you offer recurring, periodic, preventative or long term maintenance? What other services do you offer that may be complimentary?
