Introduction

Legacy PMD is a family owned real estate development and contracting company started in 2020. Our goal is to create a legacy that our grandchildren can be proud of long after we're gone. The same applies for our customers. We take pride in our work and would like to extend that dedication in helping our communities and friends with their legacy. Whether that is an updated kitchen we install, where families can come together for great meals or a new deck where children can make memories that will last a lifetime; we strive to continue that legacy of hard work, honesty and reliability. If you would like to check out our Facebook page you'll be able to see our posts with our team and families there!

Q&A

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We like to make the customer feel as comfortable as possible. We will always work around your schedule and take up as little of your time as possible. We are thorough through the proposal process but we're also efficient. Once we have come out and looked at your project, our office will be in touch with a proposal for your review usually within 3-4 days. More complex projects may take up to 7 days to get you the best possible pricing. During this time, if there are any questions, a team member is always available to help you out. Once a price is agreed upon, the proposal is signed and the work is scheduled. Legacy runs on a first come, first served basis. Our goal is to build long lasting and trusting relationships with our customers so we do not play favorites.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Our 2 project managers / superintendents, both have OSHA training and certificates. They both also carry federal background check cards and between the 2 of them they carry more than 40 years experience in the construction / general contracting field. As a company, we carry business licenses in 3 counties and more than 7 distinct municipalities.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Legacy works with anyone who needs work done to their home or business. We work with residential customers who need drywall repaired or their kitchen remodeled. We work with commercial clients who need their office space rehabbed for a new tenant. And we work with industrial companies who need their shop retrofitted.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
The best piece of advice I could give is to make sure you feel comfortable with your contractor. Do they make eye contact with you, are they trustworthy? If you don't feel comfortable, there is probably a reason and this will lead to issues further into the project.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
1. Do I have a good idea of what I want? 2. What is my budget? 3. When do I want this completed by? 4. How am I paying for this? 5. What is the return on investment if I contract this project? (Is it worth it?) 6. Has any of my friends or family had this done and who did they use?
