Most of my experience comes from hands-on work over the years. I’ve learned by doing—through home projects, helping others, and working on a wide range of repairs and installations. Every job has helped me improve my skills and find better, faster ways to get things done well.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I’ve always enjoyed working with my hands and fixing things around the house. Over time, friends and family started asking me for help with their home projects, and I realized how much I liked doing it professionally. I decided to turn my skills into a business, and now I help clients with all kinds of handyman tasks through Thumbtack.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

A recent project I really enjoyed was helping a client set up their new living room. I mounted a TV, assembled furniture, repaired and painted some drywall, and installed floating shelves. It took about two days to finish everything. The client was very happy, and I liked being able to use different skills in one job.
