What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Working with new customers is the best part of the job. Meeting new people and listening to what their needs are, and having dialogue to determine how we can achieve their need and goals together

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been doing home repair for many years, and have been helping friends and relatives with their home repair needs for over 20 years

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I learned from my grandfather and thru trial and error. I have always had a curiosity as to how things work, and that curiosity has helped me learn every day. I learn something new every day from the people around me.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with homeowners, business owners and everything in between in my career. I understand that the service I provide it to the most important thing in my customers life, their HOME

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I had to remodel my basement after a flood (broken pipe) on Christmas day. That remodle took approx one month

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Just talk to the contractor/handyman and make sure that you tell them everything, and that you clearly define your expectations for the final product. A good contractor will always listen....

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What is the use case for the project What are your clearly defined expectations for how the project should look, and or function when completed. Talk to your contractor, if they are a good contractor, they will hear what your saying, not just "listen"
