What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My basic installation prices Storm doors $150 Security doors $175 Exterior entry doors $600 depend on if it has side light or not. Patio slider and French doors $700 oversized patio door $800 All prices include basic material and excess material will be brought up during home visit before services our agreed on. I charge $50 to come out and measure doors which is applied to services if you decide to go with my services. Customers is responsible for supplying doors I only supply material needed for the completion of the job All these are basic install prices with material extra labor cost will be discussed if needed

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The typical process is i will quote a rough estimate based on what installation you would like. Then I would schedule a home visit to verify if the job requires excess material. During the home visit I will measure the doors and or windows. I will give you the measurement for you to purchase the doors and or windows for installation.Basic materials are included. For example Trim, sealants and minor wood needs. Some jobs need excess wood which i will inform you about and explain the needs.. After the home visit I will either give you an okay on the original quote or tell you the new quote and schedule a install date.

I started doing installation when I became and contractor for Lowes and home depot.
