Projects vary to some degree, but average pricing over the last 6 months has been about $1 per square foot of attic space.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Scheduling a free inspection and quote is the best way to begin. Not every home has the same insulation needs, so we need to see it first-hand.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have insulated attics in homes of every size, type and value. From 600 to 4600 sq/ft.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

It feels especially satisfying when the impact of our work can be felt before we even finish the project. We recently worked on a beautiful two-story Overland Park home. The owners were caring for their elderly mother who was sensitive to the unstable temperatures in the home. By the time we left she was having to turn down the thermostat because we had fixed the heat loss into the attic.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Do some research on what is both effective and cost efficient. Go with a company that doesn't seem like they are wanting to up-sell you something. Also, it is easy to cut corners in a space you will probably never see, so find someone you can trust.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Do you struggle to maintain the temperatures you desire in the summer and winter? Are there bedrooms or areas that are always too hot or too cold? Is there a large difference in temperatures between upper and lower levels? Does it seem like your air conditioning or heating is running non-stop? Do your monthly energy costs seem too high?
