Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We will typically schedule a site visit with you to review the job. We then provide a written estimate with the scope detailed and pricing broken down between labor and materials.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We schedule a site visit to review the job in person. We discuss your job in detail and get an understanding of your expectations and budget. We can then decide to move forward with a detailed quote, or refer you to another contractor.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I've been a licensed general contractor since 2017. There are plenty of trade contractors to handle the larger jobs, but not as many reputable and dependable contractors to handle the small jobs that most homeowners need. We are positioning our company to partner with homeowners in need of those smaller jobs.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I got started in this business by renovating most every house we lived in. The house I live in now was a full gut remodel.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Residential and commercial.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We recently completed a full kitchen renovation where we were able to double the kitchen's storage capacity. As part of the project we built in a freestanding wine cooler to give the whole kitchen a finished look. This project made the kitchen much more functional for the homeowner. The project took about 3 weeks.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I would always recommend hiring a business with an online reputation through Google, Yelp, Facebook, etc. These contractors have proven track records, the required insurance, business history, and financial standing and will typically cost more than a generic contractor.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Customers should do a little due diligence into the scope of their project to better understand what needs to happen. There are plenty of resources online - along with AI resources like ChatGPT to learn more about what their project will require. An uneducated customer isn't going to know how to compare estimates between contractors.
